Mai Trung Thu (1906-1980) was a famous Vietnamese painter known for his delicate silk paintings. He was one of the outstanding students of the Indochina College of Fine Arts. His style is characterized by soft strokes, gentle colors, and themes revolving around women and children in everyday spaces.
